Heavy Duty Insulated Roller Shutters

The Heavy Duty Insulated Roller Shutter has been specifically designed to meet the ever increasing need for insulation within buildings. It has a uniquely dimensioned twin skinned lath section incorporating 3 ribs for extra strength and it boasts a thermal value of 0.69w/M2K along with an acoustic value of 18DBA.

CURTAIN

85mm galvanised twin skinned interlocking laths incorporating 3 ribs for extra strength and finished with a ‘T’ section bottom rail complete with integrated EPDM bottom weather seal.

BARREL

A maintenance free seamless steel barrel with bright steel running shafts, mild steel bearing blocks with high-speed bearings

GUIDE CHANNELS

2mm cold rolled steel guide welded to slotted fixing angles in galvanised finished guides and fitted with twin co-extruded brush seals to both sides.

END PLATES

BZP plated support brackets fitted with sealed roller bearings

FINISH

Galvanised, Plastisol Coated or Polyester Powder Coated to any standard BS/RAL colour

OPERATION

A SafeDrive direct drive motor, incorporating failsafe safety brake with gearbox. TUV ertified, complete with built on starter, low volt control circuit, integral travel limit switches, and auxiliary limit switches and hand chain manual override for use in the event of power failure. IP54 rated

An Open/Close/Stop push button station comes as standard. IP54 rated
